DAY 1 – From Lake Como to Lugano's one
Meeting in Urio lakeside in the province of Como on Saturday morning at 09.00. Briefing of the day and application of the Covid19 protocol for the health and serenity of all participants. Departure of the ride towards to Villa del Balbianello, one of the most beautiful villas on Lake Como and location of some scenes of Star Wars saga. You can fully enjoy the guided tour thanks to Godoit’s “concierge” service. Then, Godoit guides will lead you towards the east shore of Lugano lake reaching Villa Fogazzaro Roi. It will be time for relaxation and energy recovery, having a picnic lunch organized in the garden of the lakeside Villa reserved for you.
The 2nd part of the cycling tour will lead you to the challenging ascent to Lanzo di Intelvi first; afterwards, you will cross the Italian border with a short hike through one of the many paths used by smugglers in the past. Now you are within Swiss land (take you passport/ID card) but ready to descend to the Italian border again reaching the amazing lakeside road will accompany you till to your cars.
