CHASE THE SUN STAGES – From 20th to 22th June 2024
Meeting on Thursday afternoon at Milan Rogoredo rail station, departure by coach with bike trolley towards Cesenatico. 2 nights in Cesenatico’ hotel with half board treatment. A short cycling tour on the hills to warm up your legs for Chase The Sun on Friday morning, while the technical briefing of the ride awaits for you in the afternoon; finally the coast-to-coast crossing Italy on Saturday, from sunrise to sunset. The Godoit recovery service is always available for any physical or mechanical inconvenience, in addition to our bike guides present on the route. A private transfer will take you to the charming Ai Santinelli farmhouse in Lucca’ province after the sunset dinner.
STRADE BIANCHE AND TUSCANY HILLS STAGES – From 23th to 27th June 2024
These are recovery days and fun. It starts with a cycling tour of roughly 50 km and 300 meters altitude gain on Sunday late morning up to the renowned Montecarlo hills, while sports massage awaits for you in the afternoon. Another ride of 70 km around Lucca is scheduled for the day after, then a rest day spent on the beach and visiting the exclusive Forte dei Marmi. You are ready for the transfer to the heart of Tuscany: a first stage will lead you to San Gimignano where both the quiet and nature of a typical agritourism welcome you after the efforts of about 90 km and 900 meter altitude gain during the daily ride; the next stage retraces the major part of Strade Bianche medium route, even equipped with a gravel bike if you felt safer. About 100 km of fun and epic cycling.
FLORENCE AND TOUR DE FRANCE STAGES – From 28th to 01th July 2024
Pedalling through the Chianti’ hills, you arrive in Florence while the rest of your luggage travels on the coach. An historic location on the outskirts of the city welcomes you, an old restored mill. A private transfer will take you to Florence the day after, now you can enter into the Tour de France paddock and breathe its magic atmosphere till the official start of the 1st stage.
A fast train brings you to Bologna to be ready for the 2nd stage. A guided cycling tour on the hills to spend time in late morning waiting for the double ascent of San Luca, the 2nd one only 15 km before the arrival. Be part of thousands of spectators along 2 kilometers of this terrible climb!
A private transfer brings you to Bologna airport for flying back home.
