Itinerary description


Day 1 - Welcome drink and insight in the Italian design

Guest pick-up from Milan Linate / Milan Malpensa airport/ Milan central station between 14.00 and 15.00 o’clock on Sunday*.  Transfer and visit of some of the most exclusive Italian design company producing Made in Italy furniture famous all over the world. Afterwards you’ll be run to the Relais Château Monfort hotel in the center of Milan for the welcome drink and weekend briefing. Accommodation in the rooms and dinner at a well-known Milan’ starred restaurant.

Day 2 - Up & down (Mangiaebevi) of Milan’ surroundings

Breakfast in hotel, then transfer to the outskirts of Milan on our fully electric vehicles. You’ll be ready for an enjoyable up and down along the country roads of Brianza, in a succession of “mangia e bevi” (literally eat and drink) between Monticello, Sirtori and Colle Brianza that will surely raise your body temperature. Some uphill sections will be very steep, but a packed lunch in perfect Godoit style will restore your energy to return to the cars. Back in the hotel, you’ll have time to enjoy a relaxing massage and get ready before going out to discover Milan by means of our city bikes, visiting the most iconic and artistic landmarks of the Lombard metropolis: the Duomo cathedral, the Sforzesco Castle, la Scala theatre and the Da Vinci Cenacle (Last Supper) (the last two are subject to seasonal availability). Our personal shoppers will be available to anyone wanting to be guided along the fashion experience of the famous Quadrilatero della Moda. You’ll then return to the hotel to prepare for the evening, during which you’ll taste traditional Italian dishes in one of Milan’s famous Michelin star restaurants.

Day 3 - The Lake Como' beauty

After breakfast, another transfer towards the city outskirts to avoid Lombardy’s regional capital traffic and dedicate the day to climbing some of the region’s most renowned hills, made famous by Giro d’Italia and Giro di Lombardia; characterised by beautiful locations and breath-taking landscapes overlooking lake Como. The first uphill section will take you on top of Piani del Tivano at 1.200 metres above sea level, and the boldest of you will suffer along the legendary steep “muro di Sormano”: 300 metres of altitude difference in only 2 km! You’ll then go down towards the lake, cycling along its shores until you reach the enchanting town of Bellagio. After a quick and light lunch, you’ll climb up to the summit of the mighty Ghisallo, where you’ll be visiting the historic museum. The trip back to the cars will be a pleasant and easy downhill section. Then it’s back to the hotel, where you can enjoy a sports massage and a hot shower before diving into the “movida milanese” for a typical “aperitize” followed by dinner at renowned Michelin star chef Carlo Cracco’s restaurant.

Day 4 - Valtellina and its wines

A last breakfast in your hotel, before the transfer to Bormio and Valtellina on board of our fully electric fleet. Along the way you’ll visit one of the most famous wineries of the area, and you’ll be able to taste their products paired with local dishes. Once you reach your destination and check-in to your rooms, you’ll be accompanied by our guides to reach the mythical Stelvio Pass: an incredible climb, challenging and rich in history, covered many times during the Giro d’Italia. Upon your return at the hotel, you’ll be able to relax in the fantastic roman thermal baths Bagni Vecchi in Bormio. The evening will conclude at the hotel’s restaurant, tasting typical recipes from Valtellina.

Day 5 - Pedalling inside history…

A good breakfast in the hotel will help you face the challenging day ahead: the legendary road up Gavia Pass. Leaving Bormio, you’ll immediately begin going up towards Santa Caterina Valfurva, provided that local authorities grant access to cars along the road which may often be closed due to risk of avalanche. You’ll then start the arduous but greatly rewarding climb towards Gavia Pass. Once you reach the top, we’ll turn our bikes around to go back to the valley floor and after we go past Bormio an up and down section will give your muscles the final blow. The arrival at the hotel will allow you to enjoy a restoring massage that will get you back in shape for the evening, when you will experiment a kitchen under the stars if the weather allows it; otherwise, you will visit one of the most historic restaurants in Bormio, tasting traditional dishes.

Day 6 - Come back home

It’s going back home day, but not before having enjoyed the Godoit experience: a track racing course with cycling federation specialists in the legendary Vigorelli velodrome, which was also home of Fausto Coppi’s hour record. An electrifying experience that… will give you the appetite for a satisfying lunch at Terrazza Martini with a view on the Dome.
